Lalon shah bridge is the 4th longest road bridge
of Bangladesh. It is 1800 meters long,Megna-Gomti bridge,jamuna bridge and
Megna bridge.Lalon shah bridge provides communicative connection to Mongla sea-
Port of Khulna division and the northern part of Bangladesh Rajshai and Rangpur
division in south.The bridge was named in 19th century mystic poet
Lalon shah of kushtia.The mighty Padma carries immense volume of water and it
leaves slightly to the south of kushtia. Over the river of padma and Iswardi
upazila on the east and Bheramara of kushtia on the west and parallel to south
of Hardinge bridge,the Lalon shah bridge siatuated and completed in 2004.
